We recently purchased this Yakry rear view camera system for our Ford F350 pick-up truck and Adventurer 910DB slide-on camper. I had researched camera systems for a while and had never heard of Yakry before. We purchased a 2-camera set-up that can expand to 4 cameras in total. Yakry provided a free wireless license plate camera and extended range antenna after the initial purchase, so we have a total of 3 cameras. This package provided a great value compared to another system we had purchased from another online (rear view camera only) retailer--theirs never paired properly (had to return it) and cost twice as much for only 2 cameras. Although we haven't taken this system for a long trip yet, we will be doing so in another week or so. It will have a couple of thousand miles to perform well thorugh about 5 states. I'm giving the system 4 stars so far, since we haven't completely put it through its paces yet--not because of anything lacking in the system. I've tested all 3 cameras, and they all work well at this point. The pictures are very sharp, but I haven't tested night vision yet. Our old system posed a challenge for me while wearing prescription sunglasses--the polarized lenses in the glasses didn't work well with the monitor--couldn't see it. So, I'll be curious to see how this new system works with polarized sunglasses under driving conditions. The 2 initial cameras were paired with the monitor from the beginning, so only the license plate camera needed to be paired. Once I located the instructions from the 2 camera system, pairing the 3rd camera was very easy--just follow the directions! The system came with plenty of power cords and cigarette lighter options as well as connectors and screws to mount the cameras to the brackets. The cameras are all made of metal--no plastic on any of them (even the license plate camera). I chose to use pop rivets to mount my camera to the camper, so that it would be difficult for someone to steal it. Once the bracket was installed, and the holes sealed with silicone, the unit connected easily and was operational. All-in-all, I'm pleased with this purchase; however, I'll reserve that 5th star for our upcoming trip.Updated 6-16-21We completed our 2,300 mile trip from Denver to Oklahoma City, to Kingsland (TX) and back. This camera system worked very well the entire trip. I'm very pleased with the picture quality, the price for 3 cameras, the lack of excessd wiring I didn't need, and the 3rd camera that added rear view capablity from a license plate vantage point. That camera is aimed directly at the ball hitch, and makes hooking up our boat very easy. It's got a field of view that also provides a good look around either side of the ball hitch, so you can see cars on either side of the boat as you're driving. I'm giving this the 5th star, and I don't do that without justification. I'm hoping this sytem continues to perform for many years to come.

This wireless backup camera with a 7 inch Monitor is very easy to setup and use. The 7 inch Monitor requires a 12V power source, such as a cigarette lighter outlet. This unit has a cable supplied with an ON/OFF switch that connects between the 12V power source (cigarette lighter) and the Monitor. The Monitor is designed to have up to two camera channels. This unit comes with one Magnetic Wireless Backup Camera, Solar. A second camera can be added later, if desired, for a second channel. The Monitor also contains a microSD card slot so video can be recorded. It supports a maximum of 128 GB microSD memory card. The Magnetic Wireless Backup Camera Solar does not need any wires to get it working, which is a real nice feature. An internal battery is charged with a 5V USB cable and charger, usually by taking the camera inside your home or garage and charging it there. The solar panel on the camera allows the camera battery to extend the battery life before the battery runs low on power. I have not had time to test how long the camera will run before it needs to be recharged, but it seems to have many hours of charge available during daylight hours if it has been charged the night before. The wireless signal sends a stable digital signal to the Monitor for a stable, smooth video without frozen or jumpy images. Picture quality is very good with its 1080P video resolution Monitor. The camera works very well during the day with a bright sun, as well as at night during very low light conditions. The camera has an IP69K Waterproofing Rating (the highest rating) to prevent rain/water from getting into it. I have included two pictures; one was during the day in bright sun, the other was taken at night when it was very dark outside, with the only lights being from the vehicle in reverse gear with backup lights ON. While the picture quality is not as good as it is with the sun out, it is good enough to see if something is behind you.The camera is magnetically attached to the back of the vehicle. It has a very strong magnet and seems to stay put when going over bumpy roads, and the Monitor display remains stable. The camera can be removed from the vehicle by tilting the camera up until the magnetic force is reduced and then pulling it away from the vehicle. One potential concern is that thieves can easily remove and steal the camera. For myself, I plan to remove the camera and store it inside the vehicle when I leave the vehicle or take it inside to recharge it overnight.Overall, this backup system looks very nice, works well, and is well-constructed. With its 2-year warranty, lifetime technical support and after-sales service, and impressive performance I recommend that if you are interested in getting a backup camera for your vehicle you consider getting this Yakry Y01 model.

I have been using the camera for a week now and have had an overall great experience so far.Out of the box, the camera felt sturdy and was carefully packaged. To set it up, I had to convert my router from 5 to 2.4 GHz, which was relatively simple after some googling. Otherwise, set-up was straightforward and I was able to grant access to my family members after they installed the app.I installed the camera at a spot at which the wifi signal strength is "medium". This may have caused a bit of a lag when controlling the camera remotely but overall the system works very well. I am considering placing my router closer to the camera to get faster reactivity but it serves its function as is.The camera quality itself is great with the option to zoom in. I'm very impressed with the nighttime infrared view, so much so that I attached a video on it. The visualization is excellent when dark outside and the camera is programmed well to automatically detect when to switch to and from infrared. The camera also has LED lights that can be turned on remotely. These are quite powerful and can light up the area in view to a fair distance. The microphone on the camera is decent and can sufficiently facilitate conversations between people in view and app users. Using the "hold to speak" function in the app might take a little practice but the feature works well.Motion detection is excellent at "medium" sensitivity and I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything by not subscribing to the premium plan. Motion detection triggers video recording and push notifications on my phone with no issues so far. It works equally well during day and night.I charged the camera to 100% using the included USB charger and then replaced the power source with the included solar panel. Although I was skeptical at first given the panel's relatively small size and placement in indirect sunlight for most of the day (see pictures attached), it has performed extremely well. I don't recall any moment that the camera's battery dipped below 90%. It even charges in indirect sunlight. So far, the camera appears to be an excellent product for its price. I certainly feel safer now that I can monitor my home from anywhere.

I was looking at other brands both at Rv dealers and on line, i saw this one and it fit the dimensions where i had to install camera perfectly. This unit is high quality the monitor is easy to adjust and the mounting system is very versatile i like the magnetic mount on back so you can remove monitor and store it away very easy in glove box out of sight, power plug has a switch so that you can turn off power to monitor without unplugging it.. The monitor has a shade on top to cut glare, also is large enough without taking up so much dash space and has a very high quality picture. The camera was easy to mount on my RV it is small and compact fitting the space i had perfectly. It appears to be high quality construction time will tell, the picture quality is great, the only thing the need to do is to make lead from camera longer about 1 foot would be perfect (the lead from camera to extra lead in wire) as the provide plenty of hookup wire. It was easy to pair pushed the button and i had instant picture i wired mine into running lights so that i have rear view when driving as my toy-hauler is 30 feet long and small cars tend to hide out of sight this will be perfect. The price was great for equal quality to others costing $200.00 plus. Also if you order from amazon you get a choice of free items, like a power plug adapter so that you have 2 plugs plus 2 usb ports, or a spare monitor or a spare camera, what could be better than that. So far i have had replies from their service so i think they will be there for tech support and help, also it carry's a 2 yr. warranty. So far company has been good to work with. UPDATE: Received a message from customer service today 10/6/2016 they are sending me another unit like i originally ordered free of charge so they are a true to their word about sending free items, unlike most companies they do respond and take care of their customers, had bad luck with some of the more higher priced companies. I will continue doing business with this company in the future. UPDATE 10/8/2019 Today i received the camera system that is free when you order through Amazon, this is a company that does stand behind their words and a customer service that is good to work with and i do think would stand behind their warrantys and their products. I would order from them again they have my trust.
