Hey folks, I just had to drop a few words about the Galayou DMart battery-powered wireless security camera. Let me tell you, it's been a game-changer for my home security setup!First off, setting this thing up was a breeze. No need to be a tech genius the instructions are crystal clear. I had it up and running in minutes. No drilling holes, no messy wires just pure simplicity. The wireless feature is where this camera shines. It hooks up to your Wi-Fi like a champ, and I love that I can check live feeds and recordings from anywhere using their app. So, when I'm out and about, I can still keep an eye on things back home. The video quality is top-notch. Whether it's daytime or pitch-black night, the camera delivers crisp footage. Night vision mode is seriously impressive no more blurry blobs in the dark.Battery life Let me tell you, it's a trooper. With regular use, it goes for months before needing a recharge. That's a huge win in my book no more swapping out batteries all the time. The motion detection is spot-on, and you can fine-tune it to your liking. I like being able to adjust sensitivity and set specific zones for alerts. Say goodbye to annoying false alarms! And let's talk about durability. This thing can handle the elements like a champ. Rain, shine, or whatever nature throws at it no sweat. The only minor gripe It'd be nice to have local storage options alongside the cloud storage they offer. To sum it up, the Galayou DMart battery-powered wireless security camera rocks. It's user-friendly, reliable, and performs like a champ. If you're after a hassle-free way to keep your place secure, I can't recommend it enough. Give it a shot!
Good cameras for the price. Fairly easy to use, night vision is good and having access to the cameras when away from home is nice. Customer service was good when I had a small issue with one camera.
I have a slew of the Kasa smart outlets and theyre excellent. Cheap and just work.I watched these cameras for a long time before trying a couple. Im glad I did. I got them on a good sale, around 42$ each.My buddy who is a professional security camera installer is blown away at their picture for a camera at 1/4 of his pro cam cost.Picture quality:The night vision is incredible. Thats usually where the picture quality lacks. Picture is crisp and clean when night vision is on.What is even more impressive is the cameras ability to use what light it can pickup at night and keep color and clarity. I have a streetlight that is in my neighbors yard and I dont use night vision on 2 of my cameras because it can use the available light very well.I will say, I run these on 1080 as I dont see any real difference at 2k. But just remember, it depends on the screen youre viewing it on.For me, 1080 is plenty.Spot light:Its pretty good. Not impressive but impressive for something that is running on 5V USB.Siren:Yup, it makes noise. You can even set it to initiate all sirens on your network at once.Siren and Alert settings.YES you can turn both off when motion is sensed. I dont know what people are doing where they cant turn that off.Motion sensing:Pretty slick, you can set a irregular squares to areas of interest you want notifications. For example. One cam captures the street, but I only want my walkway. So I set that section to only alert if movement is noticed in that area. Even nicer, you can set up to 4 different sections.Noise sensing/notification:Far too sensitive even on the lowest setting. A good gust of wind will set it off. This is nitpicking, but wanted to address it. All my noise sensing is turned off.2 way communication. Its OK. Not great. You can hear the people through the camera OK, but the speaker to them is not that great, but again. 42-50$ its very good.I will say, its possible that when youre talking through the camera you mouth is far away from the mic on your phone because youre also watching the video feed.Install is straight forward. Mount anywhere 110v is within the 10 reach of the cord.I bought a 50 USB extension cable to power one of these cameras where 110v is not nearby and its flawless. Can probably power sufficiently with even longer USB extension.Micro SD card storage:Its ridiculous that TP-Link hasnt accurately answered this question. At 1080, the 24/7 recording is approx 12gb a day. So a 256gb card formats at 219gb. Which translates to 18 days of 24/7 recording. The takeaway, at 1080 it takes 12gb a day. Different picture quality will increase or decrease the storage requirement.Saving from SD card.Again. I dont know where the issue is.When a notification is received the on screen prompts shows you if it was a person or movement.Touch one off them and the software jumps to that event and starts playing. On the screen youre watching theres a RED RECORD BUTTON touch that, and it starts to record that selection of video to your phone. You can record anything, not just an event. But the event notification just helps locate the times something happens.Easy. No problem. Stop whining! For those that cant figure that out, if you need to pull the SD card for insurance or police, you have a legit reason! You wont be pulling the card daily.Ending thoughts. If youre interesting in an inexpensive but high quality camera, look no further.
I bought 3 of these cameras due to someone being on my property without permission. At first I was hesitant to buy them because I have bought 2 different types of cameras in the past and could never get them set up or working. My nephew recommended these cameras as he uses them and he is a State trooper. He told me that the setup was easy and tech support was very professional as well as helpful if needed. We took his advise and bought 3, one each for the front yard, back yard and the left side of the house which faces my barn. Installation was easy and the set up was even easier. They work perfectly and have a clear detailed picture. I like that there is an outside alarm and bright flashing light when tripped. The night vision is just as clear as the day vision. We are so pleased that we are going to buy our 4th one today so that we have coverage on all sides of our house. Also the speakers work well but there is a slight delay which I think could be expected. Thank you for your product! God bless you and your company!
For the very affordable price, this camera is unexpectedly amazing. I have never owned a security camera before. This seemed like a good, basic starter camera. It was easy to download the app and set the camera up. The app is intuitive, and I havent run into any problems with it. The app itself seems very well designed. The camera quality is very clear. Night vision is very good as welllast night it even notified me at 3 am when a raccoon walked across my yard. It wasnt even super close to the camera! I included a picture of the camera view during the day and at night.I love that I get notified on my phone whenever it senses activity. There have been a few times where it sensed activity/recorded/notified me, but there wasnt actually anything going on in the video. However, this does not bother me, as I would rather the motion sensor be overly sensitive than not sensitive enough/miss things.I didnt know you could even speak into the camera from your phonehonestly so cool!! I am so impressed with everything about this camera. It truly makes me feel more safe/secure. Especially because it notifies my phone when Im out of the house if there is any activity in the camera. So far, this product is a 10/10 for me, I would highly recommend it. I am considering buying a second one for my back door. This camera was everything I wanted in a security camera, plus even more extra features that I wasnt expecting (like speaking into phone to play on the camera speakers). I have no regrets about this camera so far. Although Ive only had it set up for 4 days, so I cant speak on the longevity of the product. But as of now, I am super happy with my purchase.Edit: About 2 months later, I felt the need to update my review with my current thoughts. I was really hoping that this camera would continue to work, and good newsThis camera is still AMAZING. I actually still havent had to charge it since I wrote my original review, which is sort of insane because its been constantly on ever since I purchased it. I am so impressed with the battery life. I literally dont have a single negative thing to say about this camera. It works so perfectly. I get notified on my phone the second something pops up on the camera. The app is great, and lets you go back and rewatch recorded events/download them to your phone. I havent had any sort of glitches or problems with the app whatsoever. This has genuinely been one of the best purchases Ive ever made on Amazon lol. The peace of mind it gives me is so wonderful. I would recommend this camera to anyone looking for a great security camera. 10/10 purchase
Very easy to set up. Simple step by step instructions. Works really good under all weather conditions. Battery lasts longer than other makes/models. I had Arlo before, was a nightmare to detect, connect to WiFi, setup. Very pleased with product quality, easy of set up, customer service. Highly recommended. Don't get conned by hype Ads. Vico is the real deal! Excellent sensor, and real time Alerts 5!
Cameras work great easy to set up. Very clear and incredible sound. Got these as my old ptz mipc cameras had became slow and night vision went out. These dekco cameras ptz feature is fast and can alert from human detection. Cloud recording is 6 bucks a month or just buy a micro sd and record for free
First things first, it is small and the image quality during day and night is great. I wanted to get one camera for my elderly grandma and one for my house for safety reasons. It is very easy to set it up, however the cloud situation is kinda weird. Basically you only get 30 days of free trial of having the opportunity to record and have videos saved in the device. So if someone brakes in and dont have a premium account you cannot have a copy of the recorded clip.. Thats defeats the purpose of a camera dor safety. The one that i use for my grandma is very convenient as i can hear her and talk to her via the camera and make sure everything is alright.
I did not expect a great camera and picture for the cost of this camera. I am very impressed on both. I have already ordered more of these cameras to put around my house.Pros:The picture is clear and high quality. Day and night.no gap in recording from when it detects movement to start of recording.3 free days of online video storage.easy to installAble to turn off (sleep mode) for the camera during the times I choose to not have it one.Easy to share video/photos with someone else.So far the battery has lasted over 2 weeks without needing recharged. Runs 16 hours a day.Easy to use free app.Cons:Took a couple of trys to get it to pair with the app.
This camera is mounted above my front door. It comes with many great features for the price. This camera is easy to configure and user friendly. The camera comes with many beneficial functional features without the subscription plan, which would suffice for the intended purpose. The picture quality and night vision are great as per attached sample. Can be switched between SD/HD and Color/Black & White. The scheduling is in increments of 30 minutes. Which I do not favor-should be increments of a minute and recording options can be longer. If advanced features are required, go with the subscription plan.I would recommend this camera based on my experience with other brands. Also in my opinion, the price is reasonable for the features it comes with.In conclusion the camera functions as it was designed to.
I bought 6 of these cameras to install one each in my family room, front door, living room, garage driveway, side alley & backyard. So far it has been working like a charm! Few cameras have all the features as this one:1) The camera works indoor & outdoor, no problem.2) It is very easy to install and setup. Simple plug & play3) Great picture quality & perspective. It does the job its expected to do great!4) Excellent VicoHome mobile app that allows you to view live, recorded video, control night vision, video fidelity & many other settings etc5) You can share the cameras to be added to your family member's account6) It allows you to change the wifi once setup. My old Yi camera does not allow this, so once i upgraded my wifi router I still had to keep the old router connected. You can easily upgrade your wifi router & keep this camera7) It can operate with battery or power. So even if there is a power cut it will continue to function8) It has local SD card storage. I set mine up with 128 GB card. It can save all motion detected videos locally and also in free cloud storage of up to 3 days. This is huge as you don't need a subscription to operate the camera. My handyman was surprised i don't have to pay every monthSo nothing to complain so far. And to top it all, it is very affordable compared to other cameras. Great product!Like all products here are some things I found as opportunities to improve this already great product even further:1) Consider providing a bigger USB cable either by default or as add-on. Out door installations typically need at least a 6ft cable2) The initial connectivity to individual cameras is a bit slow (slower than my old Yi camera) and it only connects to one camera at a time. This seems like a mobile app enhancement that can be easily done3) The mobile app shows camera in the reverse order in which they were added (latest installed first). It will be good to allow the cameras to listed in alphabetical or customer preferred order4) Consider adding a desktop app to this kick ass product.
Easy set up and install. Heavy duty mounting. Fully charged battery upon receipt. Vision angle is pretty good but could be wider and does not support 5mhz routers. Lag time from video capture to app alert is slow. Could be my WiFi or could be the software, not sure. We'll see how it goes in the next few weeks. The camera is heavy duty and definitely weatherproof.***UPDATE***The battery on this camera is great, it holds a charge for a LONG time. I'm still at 71%. As for the lag time form video capture to alert it has to do with your wifi speed, how many devices you have connected and bandwidth. Keep the detection setting at medium because at high it captures everything that moves with the wind and will give you endless alerts and potentially use up more of your battery charge. Most routers like mine accommodate both 2.4mhz and 5mhz so it won't be an issue to connect at 2.4mhz. The live streaming, picture capture, texting and emailing (sharing) features are awesome. It has an automatic alarm and an alarm you can sound off immediately. It has two-way communication, the speaker is loud and the mic is very sensitive, it has flashing light warnings, infra-red for night time recordings. This little camera has definitely done the job and I recommend it.
This camera beats Ring camera by far with quality and features. EASY quick set up. You can screenshot any part of a video. Night time is clear as day. Motion sensor light is great to warn unwanted guests as gives off the indication someone is awake and just turned the light on. Audio is perfect, you can hear anything in atleast 20+ feet of the camera. My absolute favorite is that its solar powered and you dont have to worry its going to run out of battery or have to have the inconvenience of climbing up where you have the camera to get the batterys out and charge them then climb back up to put the batteries back in and reset and reconnect the cameras. I dont live where theres much sun, even in the summers and I have had no problem with the solar keeping charged. I only plugged it in for the Initial set up and not once since then! Saving money on electricity is just an added bonus!
Theses security cameras are wonderful. I have no complaints. It being all wireless, no messy wires to deal with. The solar powered grid is fast charging during daylight hours and stays fully charged at night. Even cloudy days it still charges at a nice rate. The wireless feature I would say is the best part. You can conveniently move it anywhere you want with in Wi-Fi range. Its easy to set up as well. I pay $1.99 a month for Im assuming storage and playback of triggered events if thats not why I pay $1.99 a month then whatever I pay that for its worth whatever services Im getting to run this little power house of a camera. The playback of triggered events are always clear and very quick after the sensor is triggered. Night vision playback is crystal clear. I think there is 3 lights that help play a role in the excellent night vision playback. It has all kinds of setting to tailor this camera to your liking. My trigger play back for each event was set on 8 sec of recording time but it wasnt enough for me so I played around with the settings until I figured out how to make it longer and I made it record now up to 20 seconds. I could praise this little camera for days. It just brings me so much piece of mind while Im at work and I get an alert on my phone I can quickly look to see whats going on at my house, or just check things out in real time. Ive owned a few wireless security cameras over the years and this by far is the best priced, working easy camera Ive ever owned. So much Ive already bought a second one. I dont have it set up but Ill leave a review when I do on that purchase one. To Test out how well both cameras preform on one app! Im not sure how many can be link at once but Im sure its multiples! Only thing I would say is a con is the sensitivity of alerts, but thats just a problem Ill have to figure out over time, or maybe set up the other one closer to where I would like it to trigger motion better. I wanted mine to trigger the traffic that passes by my little country rd I live on but Ive not mastered how to get that to happen yet. You just have to play with the sensitivity to get it to your liking. If you are getting to many or not enough alerts to your liking the setting options are easy to find and set all that up. Costumer services is nice as well if you have a problem. They are very helpful if you run into a problem. I have no complaints. Theses things are everything I need in a security camera and more. I just love the simplicity of the whole deal.
I searched and studied the different security cameras available. For the money these are so far the best in quality and price. Purchased for front door and balcony. Quality of pictures and videos are very nice. Still learning how to use the app on my phone. Wish there were better instructions. I know the camera and app can do so much I just have to take the time to figuring things out. All in all I would recommend these cameras. In fact I just recommend these cameras to two neighbors of mine in the apartment complex I live in. Some shady things going on. These cameras are better than the ones the complex have installed. We have no security camera near my building and I get the excuse that there isnt any wiring for cameras. Told office manager that wasnt going to fly because you dont need wiring. You may have to recharge now and then but thats not a big deal. She did say they have to figure out where they could be installed so they couldnt be stolen. Thats a joke since the cameras we had on top of the laundry room building were stolen right off the top around 11 in the morning. Truck backed up to building, jumped on top. Thats all it took. Weve become our one security around her. So glad I found these and have been able to share. If others should ask my suggestions about security camera I definitely will forward the links to the items I purchased from Amazon. I just purchased another pair. Love these cameras.
I will certainly be getting a few more of these! We have one in our carport and the camera picture is super crisp and clear. Camera can capture such a wide range without compromising the quality of the picture. The app was super easy to find and set up. No issues with the solar power supply and you can customize the motion alerts to your liking. The price was great, and I honestly think it is better than some of the camera systems my neighbors have (ie ring, google). 5 stars!
I loved this camera so much I purchased two of them. The camera takes excellent videos and photos. It was very easy to set up and get running without any issues. I got 2 camera to testing and evaluated to save my time. After set-up you can choose different setup for alert for movement and record a 10,20 or 30 sec option video. What is also great is that you can go onto the app and see what your camera is looking at and set up "alert areas" or where exactly you want the camera to alert within its field of view. The best thing for me is that resolution its really amazing during daylight and at darkest the flash light turn on which gives a great resolution as well. Also the sd micr SIM card theres no need for any subscription at all which is up to 128gb ( enough for at least 12 months before formatting and reuse it again). overall this cam does exactly what I want it to do as to alerting me when someone is near my home and I have to say with all the little caveats I am very very satisfied with this camera. Its price point is great and it actually does what the company advertises. I am glad I purchased this camera. As recommended by other reviewers here I have configured all Cameras under Motion Detection Sensitivity set @ 10 (max). I also use 128 GB SD card ($9) and do not subscribe to CloudEdge Application Services. Connecting the cameras to my Eero Pro 5 mesh 2.4 GHz network was seamless and smooth operation.Really love this camera. We have several throughout our property and they all work very well. Images are clear in both day and night viewing. Would highly recommend this camera for anyone looking solar powered camera. Easy to install and operate.Overall... great product.
I bought the LaView 2.4 MGh light bulb camera (2 pack) on a whim. Researched a few similar devices and picked LaView because of the available function and other reviews.Pros - comes with everything you need, solidly built, feature rich, great quality video even at night, good range, clear sound for 2 way communicationsCon - the only 1 I can come up with is the instructions - they could be more clear. I only had 2 hiccups in the installation. Both were minimal and had I taken the time to play with the app I should have been eliminate one and the other was created by me not know all the features/functions of my own phone. My Customer Service experience was exceptional. Minimal wait time to be connected to JESSE. he was patient, professional, knowledgeable , listened, understood and repeated my questions before answering. He went above and beyond in helping me get everything set up in a matter of minutes. Have already recommended LaView to family and friends.
I am very happy with the outcome of this purchase! These cameras and NVR system work really well day and night! The video is very crisp and clear and with a 3 TB hard drive I get almost 2 months worth of HD video recorded so I have peace of mind that nothing will be deleted of I need it a week or 2 later!I've actually used the cameras to find stuff I've lost by going back to the day I used it and replaying the video and watch where I put it! The system I bought worked so well that I recommended them to a friend, he was impressed and he bought the same system! The motion detection works really well and pushes alerts to your phone or email!I went ahead and bought 3 more cameras to my system and they were very easy to add (you literally just click the button to search for new cameras and click add!I've been running it over a year now and have had zero issues other than user error. For the money this system is worth every penny! It has worked very well for me and I trust it when I am gone from the house!Customer service has been really good and accommodating too!
This is the second Zumimall camera I purchased.I had a void I needed filled which did not require an expensive camera to connect to my DVR based system. I found this one on Amazon and the specs appeared to meet my needs. When I received the camera I wanted to test it out in different locations to see it's functionality. So I mounted it on a 2x4 so that I could move it around. The first test or experiment was to put it in our back patio to test the night vision. We have a cat that comes in and out at all hours of the night. Also we have many other creatures "pass through" on their way to porridge for food.I found the night vision to be very good. The camera captured our cat roaming around our patio every time he came out of his cat door. In addition, on one capture, it caught a skunk cruising by.The second location I placed it in was a the top of our steps coming up too the house to monitor any persons that might come up the steps. Again, the camera performed well. However, there was a lot of street traffic (cars) in the background so I had to dial down the motion detection. In both of these tests I found the camera to be satisfactory for my needs. The battery usage increased as it recorded more traffic which was to be expected. I see there is an option for a solar panel to charge the camera. You may want to consider it. This would eliminate the need for unscrewing the camera from it's mount in order to charge it when necessary. There is a "ding" alert that sounds on my iPhone anytime the camera detects movement. There is a setting to silence the ding for 30 minutes, 2 hours, and 12 hours. I didn't have a need to be alerted every time so I set the silence to 12 hours. I would like to see an "off" setting as an option. The resolution of the camera ia very good. Even inn the night vision mode. One thing I especially like about this company is the detail they put into their operation manual. Following the instructions the installation is very easy. And their email support is very good as well. just consider the difference in time zones if you submit a question or concern. There are several time durations for recording. I have mine set to 20 seconds. You can set it to "auto" which will record up to 3 minutes.Since I focused on the features that were important to me, Ii give the camera a high rating. There is al cloud storage option which provides even more features and functionality of the camera. I'm not a fan of cloud storage and you can insert an SD minor chip to record to. I actually just had it set to record to my iPhone. So I give the Dzees camera a thumbs up.
