I cant always get to the asian market for all my short grain rice needs, so i turned to amazon as one does. Im impressed. The flavor and texture is better than the pricier rice i was paying for. I plan on reordering, hopefully a bigger bag. I went to mitsuwa a week later and they had it there as well if you want to feel authentic haha.

I love this rice, the flavor and texture is great. You might not think rice quality can differ much, but it can. I like it more than other short grain sushi rice, and compared to the medium grain calrose rice breeds that some places use to make sushi, it's much better. It's just expensive in comparison. But definitely worth it.

The taste of this rice is delicious! Although it is a little pricey, it is well worth it. I was born and raised in Japan so I am very picky about the taste and texture of rice. I found it in a grocery store but lately, I was unable to find it. I was very happy to see that I can get it via Amazon.

This brand of brown rice is truly delicious and is an excellent value for the amount that you get. It's a large package, and the grains are nice and small and uniform, and when used with a rice cooker the texture is just beautiful. I only ever use this rice and I completely omitted white rice from my diet and this has been a godsend. Honestly if you buy brown rice at the store you need to try this first because it's actually less money and it tastes amazing. Give yourself a break and give it a t

I really like this as a method of cleaning rice, but also use it to clean and soak and drain other things such as vegetables, fruit and frozen items such a shrimp. I don't like items made of plastic so I like that it is metal and very light and easy to clean.
