This coffee roaster is so-so out of the box. It functions like an old whirley-pop popcorn maker from back in the day, with a non-stick base and a rotating blade that agitates the beans. Its major design flaw is that the glass lid, while sturdy, does not sufficiently insulate the roaster to get the beans hot enough to roast them to proper coffee roasting temperatures. You can barely get them to 200 degrees centigrade after 45 minutes or more, even at the hottest setting. However, get yourself a we
Great price shipped on timelove the mechanical pressure gauge built pressure fast, metal toggle switches, and the retro aesthetic. Not too heavy, not too big, not too small, handles work well for carrying.Works great, easy to use, easy directionsrequires a little bit of attention and just little involvement. It produces a very nice espresso with good amount of crema. The steam wand is long , powerful and loud when frothing the milk Im new at frothing but after using, I did run steam through wand
First impressions after a few uses ... I like it so far,I can't speak about reliability yet. I read several reviews on Amazon and OXO website about machines that stopped working early on. I hope that was just early production glitches.Pros:1. After unboxing and running the first pot of water through the machine, I tested the carafe to see how long it kept water hot. I laid a dishtowel folded over four times across the top to cover the two openings in the lid. It was still burning hot an hour lat
DISCLAIMER: This review is solely based on my personal experience/usage of the product. Yours might be different.I am actually quite pleased with the little espresso machine. I have never used one before because often times, the espresso machines are very expensive. I decided to give this one a go. I am relatively new to the espresso gang so this is my noobie' impression. The quality of the machine is very nice and for the price, I am happy with it. The manual is easy to follow and I had to look
I ordered this sometime ago and wanted to use it for a while before I made review. I had read so many reviews and had mixed feelings about ordering but I gave it a chance. I found that my coffee maker did what other people' coffee makers did and quit working after 3 days or spewed coffee grounds everywhere. I reread instructions and followed them exactly but that didn't seem to change much of anything. I was disappointed because I had really wanted this to work and didn't want an expensive mach
Pros:Very versatile. I like that it can take whole bean coffee, ground coffee, and k-cups. Produces good coffee when used correctly. I drink more coffee than ever before. The grinder dispenses almost the perfect amount (I usually add another 1-2 seconds of grinding to top it off).Cons:It is difficult to remove the used grounds from the reusable filter. Sometimes I use it, but I also buy K-Carafe sized individual paper filters. That way, you can simply remove and dispose of the filter. These work
Purchased to make ice coffee. Very easy to use, very well made no problems filling the pot and plunging the coffee to the bottom. Makes a great cup of ice coffee. Good size pot you get about 6 good cups of iced coffee out of it. Easy to clean all the parts come apart for cleaning. Not bulky doesnt take up a lot of room in the fridge. Well worth the money!
I've been drinking coffee (military/civilian/restaurant) for close to half a century now, from all manner of makers, and the Vinci, by far, makes the *best* cup of coffee I've ever had. Smooth, not bitter, full of flavor! The difference between the old MrC and the Vinci is amazing - same brand of coffee, same filtered zerowater - astounding results! I've always wondered why drip coffeemakers didn't dispense/disperse water more thoroughly, and now that question has been answered. I did, at first,
I contemplated getting a Breville. I am so glad that I saved some money and purchased the Casabrews expresso maker. The packaging was very sturdy so no chance of damage. The directions were very clear and setting up my machine took minutes. They even give you a second grinder with your purchase. My expresso tasted amazing. They recommend certain brands of beans that are easy to find for best taste. All of the extra accessories that come with the machine will make you an expert expresso maker. Th
Very easy to operate. Works great
I upgrade to the Gaggia because my Delonghi S died after 11 long years! I love the taste of the espresso and the cappuccino feature. It is so simple to make. I dont have to steam the milk manually. I just fill the carafe and hook it up and push a button. My favorite function is awesome too! Im very happy with my purchase.
After reading the reviews on this again after having this for several months now, Im a little shocked.I have had no problems with mine, I purchased the black one (no picture cause I didnt want to get up for one). Both hot and cold functions work just fine and its very easy to use.I have yet to use the kcup way cause I didnt know what to get and honestly came to the reviews to see what others have used. Which made me write this review cause I genuinely like my coffee maker. Its so simple and
This is an ingenious contraption for making coffee in my opinion. No glass to break, durable and stainless, lightweight and portable, requires no electricity, and makes great tasting drip coffee.I just pre-wet the cup with water and let it drip out first before adding the coffee to decrease the grounds falling though the holes. Even more effective in preventing any grounds at all from falling through, I put a cut piece of pre-wet coffee filter paper to the bottom before adding the coffee grounds
Perfect to have espressos at anytime anywhere! we are about to take another cruise, hehe, yeah one more and we love to have espressos in the balcony without having to wait for the room service and this is just perfect, usb chargeable, self heating, just excellent! this is the second one for my husband the other one he takes it on business trips!
My first impression of this machine is wow. Years ago I had a small krups pump machine, which is long defunct. I mostly drink filter coffee {Peet' Sumatra k-cups} or cold brewed "ass kicking" blend. I drink an average of four-six cups per day. When I wanted an espresso drink (iced plain espresso or iced Americano), or a cappuccino if I was in that mood, I'd stop and have one made.Every now and then I'd look at replacing the dead Krups but there were no machines that had a decent feature set and
The espresso machine delivers a robust and flavorful brew with a consistent crema. Its sleek design adds a touch of elegance to any kitchen, and the user-friendly interface makes operation a breeze. The adjustable settings allow for customization, catering to both coffee connoisseurs and casual drinkers. The machine' durability and ease of maintenance further enhance its value, making it a solid choice for those seeking a reliable and high-quality espresso experience.
I specialize in kitchen reviews. Of the countless gadgets Ive evaluated, none gets more use than my superb Nespresso Essenza Mini. Were coffee connoisseurs and get 99% percent of the quality we used to from time-consuming fiddling with my high maintenance Saeco Classico espresso machine. But is the Original Line as good as the more recently introduced Vertuo Can Keurig complete with these European wonder machines Read on to learn more:First, if you are going to order an Original Line machine
It' pricey, but you get what you pay for. I expect this to last me the rest of my life. High Quality grinder with adjustable grinds. I love it
It' just a coffee mill, but it is well made with good materials, has a very satisfying, solid feel in the hand, and it works great! My only reservation is that the coffee clings to the grinder due to the static electricity. It is easily brushed away with the brush that is included. Nothing can be done about this, but the fine powder does tend to get everywhere. The grind is adjustable, and the beans are ground to a consistent size. I'm very happy with this purchase.
Update: so after much research, I discovered the Vssl uses a very similar burr set as the timemore C2, if not exactly the same. This gave me the idea of swapping burrs. So I couldn't find anything at all online about anyone doing this with the Vssl but there was plenty of info about people swapping the C2 burrs. I couldn't foresee any reason why i couldn't do this with the Vssl, so I took a chance, ordered the 38mm S2C660 burrs directly from Timemore' AliExpress store. Thankfully, it turns out
