I was first introduced to Urban Star jeans at Costco. When they stopped selling them, I was hurt. Then to my surprise, I found them here at Amazon and was super happy because these are the most comfortable jeans I own. I am so impressed with them, that I bought several different pairs in different colors. I was also happy to find that they come in slim fit. So I bought some of those too. And unlike other slim fit jeans, because these are stretchy, they are way more comfortable than other slim fit jeans I've bought. They last long, fit great, look great, and all at a fantastic price. I love my Urban Star Jeans!
These have a stretchy-ness to them and are very comfortable to wear. Feels like a spandex material (might be). Does not look like spandex, looks just like expensive jeans. When moving around they are always comfortable.
I have been on Amazon 15+ years and never ordered jeans (or pants) because I know they're not gonna fit.Usually go for a stylish jean these looked alright and guess what! Ordered them on a lark the other day and they fit great! 36 waist, 32 length.There is some surprising, very comfortable, stretch in the fabric which is very soft, making these the most comfortable jeans I now own.Will return here and update my review if they get worse after a wash. But very pleasantly surprised on first wear.
Love the stretch fit
Have a 3 year old Urban Star 38x30 and it's the same (2016 vs. 2019)! Nice and stretchy so I can bend my knees no problem (no knee/thigh tearing potential). Stretch is mostly in the width, maybe 80% width & 20% length. I can see them working for waist 36-40. Different numbers on the tag (2016 vs. 2019) but it seems to be just thread/embossing change differences or maybe a color difference. Pockets are the same depth, deep enough for me and keys & 3 blade 3" pocket knife, wallet, iPhony 5S (all in different pockets). Going to buy more.
We have been our purchasing these jeans for many years. If you want the give of stretch, these jeans are very comfortable. True to size.

Awesome pants, stretch just enough, and the fit is perfect! True to size; 32x32. I am very satisfied with this purchase for my husband!
