I have kept my last 5 phones in metal clam shell cases that have rubber inserts and use an Alan wrench to screw it all together for me this seemed like, well less.I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The case is a textured plastic thats comfortable to grip and does not make the iPhone 14 Pro Max feel bulkier. Its a pretty expensive case but i think its worth it i work in construction and no dirt has gotten in the case, my phone has fallen multiple times and my phone hasnt been damaged so if for some reason this one breaks i will buy another one of theses cases
