This is a cute set, but probably my least favorite of the new Polly Pockets. Not as high quality or as cute (in my opinion) as vintage Polly Pockets, of course. But still enjoyable and its nice to have new sets to play with. I do have some complaints though.I wish all the animals were removable. When you get a case that looks like a hedgehog (or pig, like another newer one that we also purchased), you would like to be able to play with a hedgehog or pig. But instead they are permanently attached to the inside of the case. In this hedgehog set, all you can pick up and play with is the orange cat with hair and a white bunny. You cant pick up the hedgehogs, or dog, or white cat, or purple cat, or blue bird. You CAN detach the bird perch from the tree. And the purple cat can move so that it can swipe at the snake (toy Not sure what it is) hanging from the tree, but you cant pick any of them up. I feel thats a huge design flaw and a missed opportunity. I realize it just adds to more small items that could become lost. But it would allow for a lot more imaginative play.I do prefer the newer Polly that has an all plastic body as opposed to the earlier version with the rubber legs. But they didnt provide any areas on the floor of the case for Polly to stand. Vintage Polly Pockets had indents where Pollys feet could stand in. Polly Pockets with rubber legs have Polly Stick. These have uneven floors and no way to keep Polly standing. Kind of frustrating. I also worry that a Polly with movable legs, waist, and arms, she is more likely to break. My biggest complaint is probably how cramped everything feels. The hamster enclosure is just too big. Then you add in the table and swivel chairs and it just makes for too many tiny, cramped spaces that the cat and bunny can fall into and get stuck. One last complaint (I promise) is with new Polly Pockets in general. I dont like the clasps. The little claps could fall off and then the case wouldnt close. This hasnt happened yet with ours, but one does wobble and Ive seen reviews say theirs have fallen off. The old Polly Pocket clasps worked wonderfully, so I dont understand the need to change that.Overall, I am happy enough with this set just because its a new Polly to explore and have fun with. I like the cat face paint on Pollys friend.Side note, mine had weird black splotches on the hedgehog play area, seen circled in one of my pictures. I couldnt determine what the mysterious substance was. It almost looks like mold stuck between two layers of plastic, but Im not sure. It wouldnt be wiped off. I contacted Amazon and they gave me a $5 credit for it.

Note: Polly Pocket Pollyville Mega Mall Super Pack (Amazon Exclusive) is the Mall plus the Pollyvile Ice Cream Truck. The Pollyville Ice Cream Truck is sold separately for $6.99 The more appropriate name might be Bonus Pack and not Super Pack.A huge Mega mall addition to Polly Pockets Pollyville! Imagine the smile on my face when I lifted the lid to the box and saw the Mall fully assembled. All thats left for you to do is add some Polly Stick stickers and have fun! You do have to add the one piece of curved track, but that takes less than two seconds. If you are new to Polly Pocket, she is tiny and mighty! These are Micro sized dolls that live in their miniature playset, buildings and vehicles. The Mall has so many fun features! from the revolving front doors, riding the elevator, trying on clothes in the fitting room and walking out on the runway, shopping, sitting down at the movie theater or grabbing a snack! Dont forgetto stop at the Pet Shop and see Peaches in the window. When it is time to leave, Polly and her friends may grab an ice cream from the Ice Cream Truck! After that, they head to the parking garage and drive down the ramp to head home!We have an entire collection of the vintage Polly Pocket sets. You cant compare that product to this. The 1990s isnt 2019. Polly is catching up to the times. We have purchased several of the newer sets since their release in 2018 and love them! We have had no issues at all with either the dolls or the quality of the playsets. We have set up a roadway rug/playmat for our Polly Pocket collection. We have the house, Diner,Middle School all set up. The car, ice cream trucks and Party Limo all drive the streets!Polly Pocket has been inspiring imaginative play for a very long time time. I love that the playsets are compact and the kids are really responsible for the miniature dolls.I do think Peaches needs to be a bit larger. We are good with taking care of the dolls, but Peaches is super small. I dont want to have to look for him in the vacuum someday! An excellent gift! Nothing flimsy or wobbly about it. It will definitely be a Wow gift for your special someone.
