This bed arrived in one box to be assembled. The instructions are simply pictures without words and they're very simple to follow. I'm a 62 year old female and put the bed together in about an hour. The bed looks great in my room and feels solid. My hybrid queen 12 mattress fits in the bed frame perfectly and has not slid around at all. Not too difficult to build. Extremely sturdy! And it truly doesn't make a sound! When it' described as a silent bed it really is! The under drawers have a way of locking in place to prevent them rolling all over the place. And the drawers are surprisingly big! This bed has exceeded our expectations.

I really enjoy this bed frame, it was fairly easy to put together although most of the pieces weren't labeled like the instructions suggested, however the pictures didn't make it hard to figure out for yourself. I like the sturdy but easy build, and the under storage is very nice. Do wish the extension cord was just a liiiittle longer but I made it work. Definitely worth the money
