Let me preface this review with the fact that I am Italian and raised 5 children on daily home-cooked meals. The kitchen is the center of my home. So when my daughter got her own apartment out west and asked for a set of pots for Christmas, I wanted to make sure I got her a quality set that would last her for years and years. I knew what I wanted for her, but didn't know which brand to purchase. Non-stick was out (I have never liked it). The pots also had to be both dishwasher/oven safe, and I w
It' thin, and it buzzes a bit on my induction range, but it heats evenly across the whole surface when using the bridge burner. Nice to be able to make eight grilled cheese sandwiches or burgers or two dinner-plate sized pancakes at a time. Food gets done faster, whole family gets to eat at the same time. Easy to clean, does it' job.
As usual Cuisineart delivers an excellent product at a very affordable price. These knives come razor sharp right out of the box and have a beautiful appearance. The steel has held up well against tougher substances such as dried sage with minimal loss of sharpness. The sharpener that comes with it is also very good, I touched up my pocket knives with it and it brought them back to a sharp edge in just a few minutes.Absolutely recommend, I generally purchase chefs knives in the range of $250-1000
I have owned AllClad pots and pans for over 10 years and have been very pleased. They are part of the family, and do their job night after night with no issues. For those of you who don't know, the Cuisenart MCP is Cuisenart' attempt to duplicate the excellent cooking properties of AllClad pans for a fraction of the price. The bottom line is that they have succeeded, and have even improved on AllClad' already excellent design.I bought this particular pan to replace a Tajine which my daughter n
I chose this set mostly because of the reviews and from looking at what All-Clad' product/price was compared to Cuisinart'. There is no way I could be any happier with a stainless steel set of cookware! The product is hefty without being heavyweight, balanced in hand, heats very quickly, uses less than half of heat setting to what I use on cast iron or all aluminum.1. Used the 2 quart pan and steamer to do green beans. Brought the water to boil on 6, (you could do this on 4 if you give it anot
The great thing about this steamer is that it fits several pot sizes and works well.
Already have used it three times and it has toasted bread, English muffins, and waffles to your perfection. This toaster is solidly built love the stainless steel, classic look, and being that its not digital is key, because they tend to fail out after a couple years.Toaster is slightly larger than your typical four slotted toaster. So make sure that you have room for this if youre stowing it away in a cabinet. The size does matter if you have a small kitchen. Some mainly put it on the counter
This is a beautiful insert. I have several pans into which it fits, making it very versatile and also eliminating an issue, at least for me, other reviewers mention: its not flat-bottomed. After just completing 5 batches of fudge in it, I think I prefer the rounded: it stirs more easily for me, and I didnt have any uneven heat disbursement issues! It fit well in 3 of my pans, I have a glass lid which fits it (although it comes with a metal one), and it cleaned up beautifully. The handle length i
We had this kettle for 5 years and it finally *sort of* broke. It started not turning on sometimes but honestly we probably still could have gotten more use out of it. Electric kettles aren't meant to last forever but this one is pretty sturdy so we ended up buying a new one. It heats up very quickly and accurately. As a tea drinker I like the temp functions. Overall very functional, affordable, and sturdy kettle.
I am in love with this pan. It is very substantial, heavy and large. It heats up beautifully and evenly with no hot or cold spots; is rather deep so grease doesn't spatter out even when frying hamburgers or chicken. I use a tsp. of vegetable oil in the bottom and hamburgers do NOT stick. It even makes a boat load of scrambled eggs with a tiny bit of oil in it, and they do NOT stick. Food comes out tasting really good from this thing. Love the fact that it doesn't have a long handle so I can navi
These knives are a nice set. They are very sharp and look nice on my counter :) & they have a nice grip. Every time I use them I wash and dry and put away, Keeps them in good condition!
In 2003 we bought an entire set of Cuisinart stainless steel pots and pans. They ended up being the best we have even owned and we still use them today. Outstanding heat distribution, durability and easy of cleaning. No matter what we cooked in them we could easily clean them; rinsing them out, adding about an inch of water and a tablespoon of salt, bring the water to a boil and then let it cool. After that it really only took a quick wipe with a soapy sponge, cold water rinse, drip dry and it w
used this for an 18 lb. roast for Christmas and was pleased with the way the meat was cooked evenly all around and the inside was nice and pink.Pot is nice and heavy for big roasts and the elevated handles on the rack make it easy to lift the roast.Good solid quality, I'm very satisfied.oh, and it cleaned up with little scrubbing.
This pan is great for every day braising. Excellent heat distribution, fairly light weight and maneuverable, and the stainless interior and exterior make it easy to clean. You could pay a lot more and not get anything better!
The Cuisinart 14-Inch Pizza Pan has become an essential tool in my kitchen, delivering exceptional results and making pizza baking a breeze. This Chef' Classic Nonstick Bakeware is a standout choice for its superior quality, reliable performance, and easy-to-clean design.First and foremost, the 14-inch size is perfect for baking family-sized pizzas, ensuring everyone gets to enjoy a delicious slice. The generous surface area allows for even cooking and crispy crusts, creating a delightful pizza
Heavy, sturdy, nonstick, pretty!
I love the fact that the knives are color-coded for size/type, and come with protective covers. They're dishwasher safe, can be stored anywhere thanks to their covers, and were an excellent price. Most importantly, they're very sharp, and easily cut through bones!
This is a great quality skillet. Well constructed and heavy. The handle is comfortable and stays cool and the curved brim creates a neat pour. The only fault I find is that it scratches very easily. In my experience, contrary to the other reviews, Bar keeper' friend does produce very fine scratches on these. I used the soft side of a dish sponge with the cleaner to get rid of some oil smoke stain and it scratched the pan.Aside from that, the pan is very easy to clean. Most of the time, you just
this is a high-quality baking pan. It' got a good solid weight to it - nothing light-weight about it. I've used it twice for baking ginger cake. Baked the product evenly from top to bottom. Clean-up was just a rinse and a wipe. Nonstick surface worked like it should; both popped right out to put on serving plates. I like the rolled rim. The depth of about 1 3/4 inches is perfect. (Few baking pans I looked at on Amazon are that deep.) No complaints about this choice. Very pleased with it and wou
Ive been scared of stainless steel cookware for years. I was so convinced that cleaning would be hard and food would be stuck everywhere so I had been using Teflon coated pans for the last twenty years. But if you have Teflon pans you know over time they can warp and the Teflon starts to peel off. My husband really wanted a set of nice looking pans (he is such a boy and what is better looking than stainless steel) so we started to research.I purchased the Cuisinart MCP-12N Multiclad Pro Stainle
