My dog thoroughly enjoyed destroying this ball. I didnt have high hopes going in. The ball itself was of good quality and seemed like itd be perfect for some dogs. My dog however, is a maniac and destroys any ball hes ever had. I guess Id recommend this for a dog who isnt a destroyer.

So a few tosses with this and she chomped it! I made a motion of my hands like a Pac-Man and clomped it while tossing it straight up (not like a frisbee yet) with a spin in the air and she seems to understand. This is the best disc toy I've found. I have tried several different styles and materials. Some got chewed up right away and others didn't fly very well. Sturdy enough to tug without worrying about ripping fabric like the other ChuckIt! toys, but not so hard you worry about breaking teeth like with hard plastic. Easy to throw and completely washable. It also will bounce off of a hard surface and get airborne, which allows her to practice jumping to grab it midair. She chases it every time. As you can see, it' easy for a dog to get their mouth around. She could grab it even when she was ten pounds and had a smaller mouth. She doesn't really chew on it much, not like chewing a bone, but the chewing she has done over the last four months has not degraded the
