I bought a standard inner-spring mattress to go on an antique bed that would not support today' heavy memory-foam mattresses. Purchased the grey throw blanket about 2 months ago & really love it. Its good quality, its soft & reminds me of the aloe socks (minus the aloe), if that makes any sense. I dont feel that the blanket is real thick but it has a certain denseness to it that nice & warm. Took of half a star b/c the size was slightly too small by a few inches. Im 5 7 and use the blanket for my bed. I make it work by trapping the bottom of the blanket under my feet & stretching it up to my shoulder. In hindsigh

It has a backing and some foam in between, the sides are generous and fit deep mattresses. With the flannel sheets on for winter it feels plushy and super soft, no chilly cold mattress to greet you at bedtime. This one is even better than the original !

This blanket was for my husband who wanted a heavy blanket. This one is. Weve had ones with beads but they didnt keep their shape but this blanket does. Our cat likes it also.
