Installed in 2017 Ram with bed liner and Extang 2.0 Solid cover. Used tin snips to cut out a small bit of bed liner but could have installed straight through. Dremel type tool would work well here if you want a cleaner look.Follow directions and the extender build is fairly easy. Rams have the drill points prestamped, so no need for cardboard templates provided. Just 6 holes and the brackets go right on.Fits great with hard cover. I installed this on my 2020 Chevrolet Silverado. It took me longer than it should have, but Ive never put one of these together before.Installing problems for me:The bracket nut plates arent designed for these trucks. Also, could have a better picture for the D pillar as these are nothing like a 2019 models.Overall it is definitely well made and a great investment for me. I would recommend these.
Ive never had power steps before so when I installed these they were perfect and the instructions were pretty clear. Ill be buying the override switch to these because it will be easier to clean but I love these
These are the best. Piece of cake to install. Look and work perfectly. I only wish the blue colored LEDs were white. They would look less aftermarketish. May replace the lights later. That said Im super happy with them. They are the best truck accessory. UPDATE: After 4 years of bliss one stopped working intermittently. I called support and they sent me a new controller under warranty. The bliss is back. I love these.

I recently bought a slightly used 2013 F150 FX4 Super Crew, and it had side rails that appeared to be factory installed. They worked great for getting into the truck, but weren't quite the right size or in the right space to be any help when getting out. I found myself sliding out of the truck, which I knew was bad for the leather seats and would eventually cause them to rip. Plus they just didn't look great on the truck.Enter the AMP Research Power Step - Bottom Line - totally worth it.Install

I think these are wonderful! its fun just opening and closing the door to my truck and showing people how the steps work. I was kind of skeptical about the rigidity / feeling of being supported with these but they are rock solid! I like the safety feature and have friends that use that to keep the steps down for washing but it just seems like it would be hard on parts. I wish they would come with the on / off switch for washing up. I also would have like to see the dual port adapter included i

I have a 2010 f150 lariat that has the Amp Research running boards ( installed when truck was new) the module had gone bad. I replaced the wiring harness with this upgrade harness and module. It was plug and play. Be sure to purchase enough wire ties to secure the harness to the truck. The first installation lasted 14 years i am looking forward to many more with this upgrade.
